http://snafam.blogspot.com/2010/10/nascars-battle-at-back.html
Monday, October 18, 2010. NASCAR's Battle at the Back. You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it. At the front of the field lies fame and fortune. At the back lies heartbreak and broken dreams. That has yet to be resolved. Front Row has since brought in Tony Raines and Dave Blaney to drive the third car, while having primary drivers Gilliland and Kvapil take part in qualifying the 38. Several steady finishes have closed the gap considerably. The 38 has gained 139 points on the Top 3...With ...

Monday, October 11, 2010. Back to Racing at Fontana! This has been a good week for my return to the Blogoshere! The Pepsi Max 400 at Auto Club Speedway, in Fontana California, was a bit of a shocker! It was quite simply fantastic racing! Sophomore team Stewart Hass Racing owner/driver Tony Stewart celebrated his return to Victory Lane! Roush Fenway Racing had a very tough race. Greg Biffle's run ended early with a blown engine, and Carl Edward's car suffered from a malfunctioning distributor. Mat...Richa...

Thursday, January 14, 2010. David and Michelle Gilliland: Making it Real for their Fans! Over the years, many NASCAR fans have picked drivers to follow. The internet has made it even easier for fans to connect with their drivers. In earlier times, websites were created, and some drivers added message boards and forums. Those forums became a place for their fans to meet each other, and chat about their driver and the racing world. Last night, the Gillilands held their first chat of 2010. In these chats, t...

snafam: Post Atlanta Observations, with a Dash of Unintended Consequences
http://snafam.blogspot.com/2010/03/post-atlanta-observations-with-dash-of.html
Monday, March 08, 2010. Post Atlanta Observations, with a Dash of Unintended Consequences. It has been a long off-season from NASCAR for me! I spent the majority of it moving my family from Vegas to Iowa, and trying to acclimate myself to a new environment. Yes, there was indeed some 'culture shock' in the move. I am not loving the snow, but I am loving the countryside and the pace of life here! I found some highlights during the off season though! Paul Kahalley from Charter 'has a past'. Just when we th...

Thursday, June 11, 2009. The Death Knell for Two NASCAR Series? For whom the bell tolls,. It tolls for thee. On the eve of the spring pilgrimage to Michigan International Speedway, a link is gleaned from the chaff of Twitter Tweets. Reports are surfacing that one of the car manufacturers investing heavily in NASCAR, General Motors, will be cutting back sponsorship, and both the NASCAR Nationwide Series, and Camping World Truck Series will feel the greatest pinch. Saturday, June 06, 2009. Meandering among the Marbles! Notes and Observations from Pocono Weekend. Requirement of the contract to sing our Anthem for a NASCAR race is that it MUST be sung properly. This is not an audition for American Idol or America's Got Talent! If I could have jacked up the restart enough and caused a wreck then I would have been fine, I would have been golden — it was a green-white-checkered so I would have won the race. That didn't happen. I went off into turn one and Joey was going...
