Being sick is not an enjoyable experience and I'm sure that the majority of people don't like it. The majority of people, however, don't mind seeing someone else being sick and don't cry and have an anxiety attack if they think they're feeling sick. How common is emetophobia? When I start feeling sick, I have develop...

Sunday, 30 August 2015. THE BEES BY LALINE PAULL. The old orchard stood besieged.". Accept. Obey. Serve. Can I start this review by talking about how much I ADORE the front cover of this book? When I went to the #ThisBookClub book quiz. For the Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction, this was the book that stood out the most for me. I love the yellow, the hexagons, the gold and the black font. Not to mention it feels almost rubberised and soft! About bees. BEES? Those poor bees never get a break. I really don...

Friday, 31 July 2015. There's An Awful Lot Of Weirdos In Our Neighbourhood. Last week I got a text from my dad saying he'd found one of my old childhood books in the garage when he was clearing some space. The book was There's An Awful Lot Of Weirdos In Our Neighbourhood. By Colin McNaughton and wow, this book was my FAVOURITE. I thought this could make quite a cute little post and everyone loves a bit of nostalgia, right? Twaddle, bilge, bombat, bluff.". Hide-and-Seek. This is a really short one but...

http://www.rachaelamyreads.co.uk/2015/06/travel-ise-edo-wonderland-japan.html
Tuesday, 16 June 2015. Travel: Ise and Edo Wonderland, Japan. After leaving Tokyo, we packed our backpacks and jumped on the train to visit Ise. We'd decided to visit Ise after reading about it on Japan Guide's recommended itinerary. We didn't stay overnight in Ise, but visited on the way to Nagoya. This was pretty silly as we actually had to change at Nagoya to get to Ise! The view from the train from Nagoya. The first glance of Ise from the Ise-shi Station. Bob viewing the Ise Outer Shrine map. After v...

Lessons you learn the hard way. June 30, 2015. I wrote a similar post. A while back and since then there have been a few more lessons that I have learnt the hard way. I’m a huge believer in looking back on your life and assessing things as you go, so with this in mind, I decided it was time to offer an updated post. So let’s get to it. Negative friends are not worth having /. Success is not success if you cheat your way there /. Creativity comes when you least expect it /. People are drawn to confidence /.

Sunday Sitdown – WiFi Worry…. May 31, 2015. As I write this blog post something quite extraordinary has happened, I’ve found myself in a strange and incredibly rare situation. No I haven’t won the lottery (but I have a ticket so here’s to hoping) . No I haven’t bagged a Hollywood star. But I have found myself with no internet and very little phone signal and as a result I am pretty much cut off from the world. What if a friend is angry at me and I can’t do anything to sort it? It’s over-dramatising the s...

In honor of my favorite summer tradition, I thought I would round up some camping DIY projects I want to try asap:. 3 DIY Canvas Tent.

We met 1000 miles apart. Our mutual friend Avi Pinckney introduced us online, knowing we'd be perfect for each other. After a few months of talking, Anthony began flying from Gilbert to Houston often. Three years later we started college in neighboring cities. Three years after that, Anthony proposed along our favorite walking trail on Barton Creek. All photography provided by Rich Faiva.
