Rachel Ann Harding: Google and a Story from Japan
http://www.rachelannharding.com/google-and-the-story-japan
Where Will She Be Next? Google and a Story from Japan. When I am doing research on a story Google is my best friend. I search for alternate versions, history and original sources of the story. An example of this is when I was preparing the story about the Young Monk and the Kitsune (magic fox from Japan)….I knew I had read a version of it somewhere, and I knew that at one point in the story the Buddha statue had stuck out his tongue…. Monk fox buddha tongue. I read through it and then dove into research:.

Where Will She Be Next? You Need to Have Something To Say. I heard a saying recently. 8220;If you are going to be a writer, you need to have something to say. ”. It immediately applied to my music and storytelling. Musically, I have a lot to say. I tell my personal story of the moment through the songs I write. My latest, “Birds in the Market” came when a man I was dating was offered a job out of state. As I absorbed the information the line came to me –. Our hearts are birds that sing to each other,.

Dancing Backwards in High Heels
Sunday, November 15, 2009. Love in living color. Our engagement photos were taken last week in Dallas by the fabulous Brooke Ogilvie! Saturday, November 14, 2009. You know what bothers me this Saturday at 9am? All of these bandwagon TCU football fans. FYI: You have had a good football team for years! And (besides my FAVORITE TCU cheerleader Melissa). And my poor, poor AGGIES! Okay, I'm off my soap box. I will always cheer for my horned frogs, because that's where my college adventures unfolded! Prayers e...

Friday, August 7, 2015. BIGGER THAN A BREAD BOX. Review of BIGGER THAN A BREAD BOX by LAUREL SNYDER. I already know I love Laurel Snyder’s writing, from my earlier review of UP AND DOWN THE SCRATCHY MOUNTAINS. It’s modestly wise, often taking familiar insights and producing a refreshing phrasing. As one example, I really like the line: “sometimes.a person goes so far down a road, they can’t find the energy to walk back the other way.”. BIGGER THAN A BREAD BOX provokes some ethical debates, though avoids ...

Photos From The Blog! Thursday, April 21, 2011. I'd like to show you all a website that deserves an audience. Maybe you've heard of it, maybe not. Maybe it means something to you, maybe you'll look at it and the message will be lost on you. To Write Love On Her Arms. That you are loved. That hope is possible. That rescue is possible. Is so vital and important to a broken person. Yet, I believe that in someway, we are all broken or have been. We were called to live together in love. Leading cause of death.
