With the God of the universe on my side! Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Since You've (I've) Been Gone! This was almost enough encouragement, but when my father-in-law said he missed my blog I knew I had to get back to it! So, since you've been gone I have been one busy nurse, wife, and new homeowner! I started a new job and it has taken me a little while to get used to working full time again. Now on to my projects. I finished my little entry way project! Ryan really likes that we each have our own couch!

I thought I’d start a page about our little home! It’s a work-in-progress but it is. Becoming “us”. A little back-story; it belonged to one of our dear friends, Ms. M, who is now in her 90’s and has to live in our community nursing home; she didn’t want the house to stay empty…and we just love it to pieces! My parents have taken care of Ms. M. for years; they live one house away, so this set-up was absolutely ideal. You walk right into the porch; it’s one of my favorite spaces! Is what I hope for…. Family. Travel. DIY. Advocacy. Capturing the Everyday. Diy {paper bird painting}. After yesterday’s comments on how unique you thought my craft ideas are, I was a bit hesitant to post this! Not so unique, but easy enough for anyone to do! I was inspired by this DwellStudio painting. Draw the basic design on the canvas (I messed with this picture in Photoshop to make the pencil marks show up…it isn’t really a big gray bubble). Step 5: Paint on your branches. Handful. It's true, i suck at this whole blogging thing. to the two of you who read this (especially krystal), i'm going to try really hard to get better at it. i promise. they say if you're going to be really awesome at blogging you should blog everyday. i just don't feel like i can be one of those people. so i guess my alternative is every few months? Say a prayer for me!
