Right now I am sitting at Logan Airport among 40 elementary or middle school kids with an English? Finally I am boarding the flight to Paris, with only one hour delay in a snow storm like this. It is not too bad. Friday, June 29, 2007. I brought many papers home to read but have no motivation to do so. We had a very pleasant 75 F day after two days of 96F. I also ...

Random Curiosity's Random Adventures: Exhausted

http://randomcadventures.blogspot.com/2007/06/exhausted.html

Random Curiosity's Random Adventures. Friday, June 8, 2007. I found an apartment near work, and will move in a week. It is a much bigger space than what I have now. I am happy with it. It has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. What is more, it is close to a big reservoir. And some lake. It is closer to stores and Rt. 9, but have enough trees to keep it quiet and nice. Next is packing. I HATE PACKING! Isn't that the, uh, middle of nowhere? June 14, 2007 at 12:11 AM. Hey you have a blog? You Ca...

Random Curiosity's Random Adventures: April 2007

http://randomcadventures.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html

Random Curiosity's Random Adventures. Friday, April 20, 2007. There is an interesting article in the Washington Post. About the social experiment in which Joshua Bell played at a D.C. Metro station during a Friday morning rush hours. I wish I were there! I would have recognized him for sure! I finally want to write this down- maybe also because the tragedy earlier this week, and all the human tragedies there have been, are, and will be. Links to this post. Saturday, April 14, 2007. Keeping Busy: November 2007

Kelly and Ron Gaulden. View my complete profile. Tuesday, November 13, 2007. We went to Trainfest. This weekend. We stayed at the Brookfield Suites. About five miles from the fairgrounds. Bubbie and Zadie went up with us and took an adjoining room. The hotel was perfect for us - plenty of space, big pool, hot tub, free breakfast and free drinks at night. Ari went to bed with gum in his mouth and managed to get covered with it. We are stil finding pieces on him. Thursday, November 1, 2007. It really is be...

Kelly and Ron Gaulden. A Sweet New Year. First Day at the Lab School. The First Years are Hard Years. It Takes a Village. View my complete profile. Thursday, September 6, 2007. We had a busy day at the Lab School. After Sam walked Ari to the Ray School, where he had his second tearful drop-off, I prepared the other three kids for the new student orientation for nursery-4th grade. (Ari is always happy at pick-up and gave his friend, John a high five today.). We walked home for lunch and then headed back o...

First Day at the Lab School. The boys are off to a good start at the Lab School. Max is playing Horn in the band - he had one lesson (from me) and has excelled mainly by just practicing on his own. He also had swim try-outs with the Midway Aquatics Club. And he made the highest swimming group that practices two hours every night!

Kelly and Ron Gaulden. A Sweet New Year. First Day at the Lab School. The First Years are Hard Years. It Takes a Village. View my complete profile. Friday, September 7, 2007. Sophie is such a girly girl. I took out the camera. Last night to grab some pictures, and she was all over it. After a few shots, she had to run and get her lipstick and fix her hair. Then she struck one post after the next. After each shot, she would say, "Can I see? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Keeping Busy: October 2007

http://chicagooncdoc.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html

Kelly and Ron Gaulden. View my complete profile. Tuesday, October 16, 2007. I had no business doing it, but I ran the Chicago Marathon last week. My longest run in the last year was 12 miles (about two months ago), and I ran maybe a dozen times in the four months leading up to the race. My plan for the marathon was to take it very easy - maybe do 15 miles. I had no preconceived notions of what it would be like past 15 miles. I mean, I've run many marathons, but none in the past 9 years.

Kelly and Ron Gaulden. I can see your Vegas! View my complete profile. Tuesday, June 26, 2007. I can see your Vegas! Julie and I spent 4 days in Las Vegas. Miriam came to watch the kids while we went with Jay and Dad. This was Julie's first trip and my second. We had a great time - pictures are online on our website. We ate a lot of great food, saw some great shows, and had an awesome hotel room. Probably our most memorable meal was at Circo. Other terrific restaurants were Il Mulino. Then it was back to...

May 28, 2015. This summer, at our new house with its mega-gigantic deck, is going to be a banner year for veggies. Incalculable Randomness

In an insane world where crazy people don't fit, people exist in maddening predictability. Eat, work, sleep, spend, die. It's a cycle. Ran, that's me, wants to change that. By injecting a little randomness into the world, he breaks the vicious cycle of eating, sleeping and working. He doesn't want chaos. Just. incalculable randomness. Monday, June 22, 2009. For programming and monetary reasons I have decided to transfer my blog to incalculablerandomness.co.cc. Tuesday, June 9, 2009. 1 Timothy v. 23.
