Random Curiosity's Random Adventures. Friday, June 8, 2007. I found an apartment near work, and will move in a week. It is a much bigger space than what I have now. I am happy with it. It has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. What is more, it is close to a big reservoir. And some lake. It is closer to stores and Rt. 9, but have enough trees to keep it quiet and nice. My longest run in the last year was 12 miles (about two months ago), and I ran maybe a dozen times in the four months leading up to the race. My plan for the marathon was to take it very easy - maybe do 15 miles. I had no preconceived notions of what it would be like past 15 miles. I mean, I've run many marathons, but none in the past 9 years.
