My Fifteen Minutes of Fame. It's been said that everyone experiences fifteen minutes of fame in their life. Thanks to my friend, Cal "Pavo" Mowrer ( meleagris gallopavo. I'm up to sixteen or seventeen minutes worth. I've been lucky enough to be on the cover of the BMW MOA Owners News on two issues. The picture on the left of my 93 R100 GS. BMW Motorcycles I've Owned. This was my first BMW. It was a 1977 R75/7 purchased new in August 1977. I painted the Windjammer SS fairing myself. Since it had a three inch wide Lester rear wheel running a tubeless tire, it was always fun trying to air up a new tire. Those MCM mufflers really sounded sweet. Atlas This excellent publication is available at most bookstores or may be ordered direct from Shearer Publishing. Threadgill Creek Rd. in Mason County. In the spring the roadside is covered with Bluebonnets. (p120). Any and all roads in Big Bend National Park. Especially the unpaved ones. (p140).

This translates to Trail and Street in English. My translation is that it means " G. Omewhere" in Texas. I am a life member of the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America.
