ACaffeinatedMom: Puppas
http://rondaletts.blogspot.com/2015/04/puppas.html
Thursday, April 9, 2015. One of the things my husband's family would make for Easter are Puppas - cookies wrapped and baked around hard-boiled eggs. It kind of looks like a pretzel. We halved the recipe, using. 5 1/4 cups flour. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 2 T baking powder. 1 1/2 cups sugar. 1 T vanilla (not halved). Plus a hard-boiled egg for each Puppa. Mix all ingredients (except hard boiled eggs) in stand mixer until a smooth dough consistency. Repeat. (We baked 3 on each sheet). When cooled,...

ACaffeinatedMom: Slow growing but still alive!
http://rondaletts.blogspot.com/2015/06/slow-growing-but-still-alive.html
Sunday, June 14, 2015. Slow growing but still alive! Our two baby corn plants are still growing, and some of the baby carrots are starting to sprout their second set of leaves. We have a few strawberries growing, as well. We fixed the broken sprinkler in the back yard, so seeded the bare spots in the front lawn again. Really hope this time it takes. I've been making socks for a couple years but I don't have that many yet. Thursday, February 12, 2015. February 16, 2015 at 7:53 AM. Operation sock Drawer sounds fun! Pictu...

Secret Of The Forest: November 2014

Secret Of The Forest. A blog of crafty things - knitting, crochet, weaving, sewing, you name it! Wednesday, November 12, 2014. WIP Wednesday: Magrathea Shawl. The hardest thing I have noticed about doing posts on Wednesdays is that I'm at work most of the day. If I don't take the picture before I leave, chances are a post won't happen that day. But I did remember today! I have several projects that are a focus right now so I'm hoping that posting about one a week will keep me focused. Find me on Ravelry.

Secret Of The Forest: Weaving Experiment: Part I
http://therealkarity.blogspot.com/2014/10/weaving-experiment-part-i.html
Secret Of The Forest. A blog of crafty things - knitting, crochet, weaving, sewing, you name it! Sunday, October 12, 2014. Weaving Experiment: Part I. The beginning of the weft. Its interesting to weave the weft through a fingering weight warp. The colors are a little off. The warp is more of a burgundy and the weft is more of that classic Gryffindor red. I only see the warp when I'm looking close enough and should see even less after I block the scarf at the end. Sunday, October 12, 2014. My Life on Fire.
