What I Believe | Readerwoman Redux

https://readerwoman.wordpress.com/2012/08/19/what-i-believe

Miscellaneous conversations and ramblings at 63. Hello, I love you won’t you tell me your name? August 19, 2012. An interesting discussion with my best friend and one of her FB friends today prompted this post! It is not so much WHAT I believe, but how I chose to disseminate that set of beliefs. Is my goal to change others’ minds, by expressing my own beliefs, or is there a narrower/broader focus here? Therefore, I decided I would write, in a disgorging purge, what it is I believe. I believe in Hope.

A is for Acrobatic Anteaters Ate Apples | Readerwoman Redux

Miscellaneous conversations and ramblings at 63. Hello, I love you won’t you tell me your name? Letter B →. A is for Acrobatic Anteaters Ate Apples. January 28, 2015. Have your attention now? My actual topic for the blog today is Acceptance. I have learned a lot of lessons in the last 10 years. One of them is that accepting something is not the same thing as mindlessly allowing something to happen! I have a quick temper. Hits hot, burns off quickly. To take or begin to have (power, control, etc.) in ...

Miscellaneous conversations and ramblings at 63. Anatomy of a Regency Letter. 8220;C” is for Confusion. August 11, 2015. Confusion seems to be my constant companion these days – fuzzy brain, mind drift, feet going different directions and hands fumbling at tasks they have done for decades. What’s up with all that! The big ones are for Jessie! Dropped one hot out of the oven and Dixie took off with it – crazy dog. See what I mean? Sunday’s List is full of intention…. I got Make and Create done (which tell...

Miscellaneous conversations and ramblings at 63. A is for Acrobatic Anteaters Ate Apples →. Hello, I love you won’t you tell me your name? January 19, 2015. Wow Two years of nothing posted. In the shower the other day, I was thinking and so forth, and had a blog idea. Well, a post on this long defunct blog idea. AND a blog idea. Look out for the first for letter A – Assumptions, Anticipation, Anteaters – one of those or another. Coming to a blog near you. Soon… very soon…. Writer, crafter (sewing, jewelr...

Letter B | Readerwoman Redux

https://readerwoman.wordpress.com/2015/03/15/letter-b

Miscellaneous conversations and ramblings at 63. A is for Acrobatic Anteaters Ate Apples. Anatomy of a Regency Letter →. March 15, 2015. My topic for the blog today is Bread. I bet those who know me well thought that B would be for Books! But although reading and books course through my veins, Bread is indeed the staff of life, at least for me! I am a diabetic with a great love of bread. A problem? I recently discovered this yeast bread at Baker Bettie’s. FIRST, you must have a cast iron 12 inch skillet.

The Crafter's Cafè. REVIEWS and IDEAS for Crafters! Family Treasures and Change in the Air. January 26, 2012. Today is raining. Which is cool, we need the rain, fo shizzle! So I was going through a (small) craft box full of interesting things. Elastic, unopened (THAT’S where I put that! Just replaced it last month. Sigh) trim and edging. Some raffia, some round plastic canvas pieces. AND, a rich finding of booty! Family Dresser Scarf Linen, with Embroidering and Tatting (Left and Right). Last but absolut...

Doctors think hypothyroidism is all in your head.

http://www.allisonandabagofchips.com/2012/02/13/doctors-think-hypothyroidism-is-all-in-your-head

Allison and a bag of chips. Comedy, Life, and Health with a dash of sarcasm. Doctors think hypothyroidism is all in your head. Posted at February 13, 2012 / Health. I could write a freaking novel on everything I now know about thyroids. I won’t. But I could. If you want to read a novel, here’s a great blog to start with. Anyway, where do I even begin? Let’s play a word association game. When I hear “thyroid” the first word that pops in my head is. I am frustrated. I have almost every symptom. I wish....

View my complete profile. Big summer read found! Must reads for the summer! Sunday, August 20, 2006. I devoured "Desolation Island," the sixth novel in the series by Patrick O'Brian. Captain Aubrey was overshadowed by the doctor and his spy adventures in this one. but it did have it's moments. The ship was required to transport criminals - with women (bad luck) and a gyspy along too who tells the crew the ship is cursed. That's just the beginning. And now onto cruising. I believe that they glossed over t...

Time and Chance Happen to All. Welcome to the blog where women writing from prison are featured. The ability to write, to express ourselves with words, is a gift. Most of us write for personal reasons and never think of publication. The business of writing is a tough one and hard to break into.
