How Can I Help? Thursday, August 7, 2014. Day 12: August 6, 2014. Day 12: August 6, 2014. We are now in Guangzhou and what is amazing here is the heat! We are almost the same latitude as Mexico City and the humidity is unbelievable! Dinners seems to be such an experience where ever we go. After dinner we just walked around where tons of street venders were and I found the cutest “squeaky” shoes for Miley girl for $7 US)…… and some McDonald’s ice cream. http://thebostromfamily.blogspot.com/2014/08/day-14-august-8-2014.html
How Can I Help? Friday, August 8, 2014. Day 14: August 8, 2014. Day 14: August 8, 2014. The doctor’s office was very nice and so were all the physicians. They actually had a separate wing for adoptive families. Guangzhou is the last stop for all adoptive families in China so I’m sure they see a lot of foreign families with Chinese cuties. Right now at 8:30pm the heat index is still at 104 degrees and it has been dark for 2.5 hours! This heat is amazing! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://thebostromfamily.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
How Can I Help? Thursday, July 31, 2014. Day 6: July 31, 2014. Today was a very long and HOT day! It was our last day in Jinan which is bitter sweet. It is our daughter’s home town and probably the last time she will be here, but also means that we are getting that much closer to taking her to her forever home in Knoxville. Our guide, John, took us to an area of natural springs that had a park build around them. It was really beautiful and was filled with lots of people enjoying their day. I started taki...

How Can I Help? Sunday, August 3, 2014. Day 8, August 2, 2014. Today was not as busy as yesterday, but we still visited a lot of places. Today we went to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Hutong area, and a tea shop for a traditional tea ceremony/ tasting. Tiananmen Square was packed with people! I’m so glad our guide carried a flag today because it really helped to find him in the crowds. It is a very large open area. When we were at the barrier of the Flag area guarded by 4 military personnel.
