In some ways 2012 seems like it went by so fast, but then when I think back to this time last year I can barely remember it, it seems so long ago. I think I'm beginning to get the hang of living in the Philippines though, I'm getting the hang of pregnant and laboring women, of large amounts of blood and more placentas than I can remember and of couse of that moment a brand new life comes into the world. Tuesday, May 21, 2013. In my own experience, the life of a missionary is compacted full of ups and downs. The ups. well they are amazing, seeing break through, provision, faithfulness. Nothing tops that. But the downs, they sure are low. Not only do we need money for our plane tickets but we also need $4,750 to pay clinic fees at the beginning of August. We need over $6,000. But that isn't the whole story, the other half of the story is that we are struggling. Friends, we need your prayers.
