Mrs. Rogers' Neighborhood: Goodbye Miracle Tree
http://jastrogers.blogspot.com/2015/07/goodbye-miracle-tree.html
Life is more than just putting one shoe on at a time and talking to your fish. If you've followed previous posts, you've heard about our "miracle tree". She has stood for years and years, through many storms, and has certainly provided many families with her bounty. Through some odd miracle, apples continued to grow on a tree that seemed to have no trunk to even sustain it's own life. She was a symbol of hope. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Words Matter. Choose them carefully. The Cool People Who Follow Me.

Life is more than just putting one shoe on at a time and talking to your fish. It's a typical winter here in the big woods. Cold, snowy, not much happening. I see why bears hibernate. I kind of hibernate too! It's easy to do anyway, having been struggling with my health for so long. My social life is non-existent! Never Not since before we had kids! I don't know, I don't really feel we're missing anything. Because friends can be just as important as family, if not more than, in some cases. And I don'...

Mrs. Rogers' Neighborhood: Little Things
http://jastrogers.blogspot.com/2015/07/little-things.html
Life is more than just putting one shoe on at a time and talking to your fish. Nothing is ever random to me. Everything means something. Hang around me long enough and it will either inspire you or drive you nuts. :). Serena left me this change she found in the shape of a heart so I would see it the morning I left for Ann Arbor. :). Hubby's latest bunch of flowers. He also bought some for my mom. :). Stick around. I'll drive you nuts with this stuff. ;). Monday, July 27, 2015. View my complete profile.

Life is more than just putting one shoe on at a time and talking to your fish. If I've never gotten the meaning of Christmas before, I really get it this year. When we learned my newly widowed sister-in-law and my 2 nephews were going to be alone for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we agreed to put off our family party anyway so my parents could go down and spend the holidays with them, at young Justin's request. Like my girls said, why on earth is Christmas during flu season anyway? Blessings. Hidi...

Life is more than just putting one shoe on at a time and talking to your fish. Spring is sort of making it's way here in the way of birds singing and snow melting, but I find myself a little stuck in winter still. I have that feeling of having so much on my mind that I have everything and nothing to say. I am in that space of wanting spring to come, but resenting life for going on. A bit confusing. It's enjoying beautiful music, but not listening to the words, because that's where the song really hits you.

Mrs. Rogers' Neighborhood: A Berry Good Day
http://jastrogers.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-berry-good-day.html
Life is more than just putting one shoe on at a time and talking to your fish. A Berry Good Day. Saturday.blueberry picking with the family, plus adopted family Hayley and Brandon. Oh, who am I kidding? Everyone who comes through our door becomes part of our family eventually. :). Serena found this one with the little heart in the center! Brandon gave me this little heart-shaped one. After all that help, I had a very busy afternoon! Sunday, August 02, 2015. Sunday, August 02, 2015. Sunday, August 02, 2015.

Life is more than just putting one shoe on at a time and talking to your fish. I "celebrated" Valentine's day with a migraine that started sometime Friday night and lasted until 3:30 Saturday afternoon. It was a blinger! I was more than discouraged that my medications are not preventing my migraines. It was the 5th one in 7 days, that one being the absolute worst. It was too late to take the migraine abortive medication, so I had to suffer through that one, but boy was I glad when it was over. So, if you...

Life is more than just putting one shoe on at a time and talking to your fish. It's unavoidable.the shopping has started, the sunflowers have bloomed, and the apples are on the trees. Natalie's senior year will begin very soon. I'm not sure I'm ready to put words to this much-dreaded for me, much-anticipated for her year. Time is a thief. Life is short, and even as I say it, and I try to enjoy each moment, the ordinary everyday pace of a life well-savored will still vanish like a puff of smoke. Patience&...

Life is more than just putting one shoe on at a time and talking to your fish. Recently I told a friend, "start a blog.write about what hurts." This after a conversation about things that matter. But do we really write and share about the "real stuff"? HmmmI think some do.and people call it by other names. Others polish it up and then call it "real", for fear of being judged. Another reason we are walking all boarded up inside. Just thinking deep on a sunny day. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Some are conquer...

Life is more than just putting one shoe on at a time and talking to your fish. I am writing again. I may not be posting a lot, but I have good reasons. Frustrating, but good. We still. Do not have home internet. While we have a good lead on a new company, they have pushed their hookup date into June now. So, when I post, it has been the mere peckings into my iPhone. That's how much I love you. And sarcasm. ;). Goneand with it.what was left of my mind. More sarcasm. Because humor is all I have left! But I...
