She LOVES to play with any type of ball, so I think sports may definitely be her thing. During a trip to the park on Saturday, we discovered the girl can kick sans soccer practice. Check her out! Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Long Time, So Much To Report. The courtroom was decorated with balloons and stuffed animals and the judge was amazing. He avoided speaking "legaleeze" and made everyone feel truly comfortable, which only added to the celebratory aura in the air. To top it off, our awesome friends, Matt and Crystal, invited everyone to their home and prepared a great dinner. We can't thank them enough for their wonderful hospitality. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. It has been a busy two weeks (with just two weeks to go from today)! We have been in baby prep mode. washing clothes, unpacking gifts (thanks, everyone! And setting up swings/strollers/bouncy seats, etc. Now we're getting serious. starting to pack the diaper bag, hospital "go" bags, and Sophie's vet/boarding bag. Sunday, July 19, 2009. Our First Two Weeks. It has been a wonderful and tiring two weeks. the days have gone by so fast! Emelia (AKA "Emmy") is doing great. On Friday, she had her two week checkup; she has gained 5.5 oz. to put her at 7 lbs. 8.6 oz. (this girl can EAT! This week, she met her St. Louis grandparents, who fell in love with her. Saturday, September 26, 2009. Swimming, Sitting and Smiling. Emelia turned 12 weeks old yesterday. and seems to be changing and growing at warp speed. In the past two weeks, she has developed so much! Although she has always been a fan of bathtime, she has taken it to a new level lately. She LOVES to kick and splash; we've even had to relocate the bathtub from the kitchen sink to inside the real bathtub because she was soaking everything around her. CUTE STORY ALERT: Grandma and Papa (as named by Emmy) graciously flew down to watch the munchkin (THANK YOU) while I was away, so I picked her up at daycare straight from the airport yesterday.
