Wednesday, September 30, 2009. The Dangers of Cordless Phones and Wifi. You see, theres a $120 box of Future Shop wireless phones sitting unopened on our counter. Itll be returned the next time I screw up my courage to go into that scary Big Box. Weve gone back to an old-fashioned $3 corded phone from Salvation Army. When I turned to Saint Google for confirmation, every article online said there is no conclusive evidence directly linking this massive new electro-magnetic (ie, radiation) invasion of our b...

Sunday again at O.U.R. Ecovillage. End of the week and time of reflection - about life in this intentional community from my perspective as woman, natural builder, elder, cobber, and,I guess, 'communitarian'. Monday, May 24, 2010. 8220;while you are away. From your people we do pray. That in your searching you will find. Balance in your heart and mind “. I wonder how the fact that we have so many people coming in and out affects the children. What does Fergus think now? Here a toddler is surrounded by peo...

The Tea Cozy: Day 10 of Advent: Trimming the Tree
http://the-tea-cozy.blogspot.com/2009/12/day-10-of-advent-trimming-tree.html
Because everything is better with a nice cup of tea. Thursday, December 10, 2009. Day 10 of Advent: Trimming the Tree. Oh, my most favourite activity! And this year, after we found our tree as a family, J and I got to decorate it alone after the kids were in bed. Practically a date, with wine and all! Although then I had to take his opinions into consideration.)When we were done, Faire got up and added one of her own. My sister and I spent the day together in the kitchen. The Tea Cozy: April 2010
http://the-tea-cozy.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Because everything is better with a nice cup of tea. Sunday, April 25, 2010. Shea is the only boy, sandwiched between two sisters, so he loves it when Sarah's boys come over. A lot of craziness ensues. These three boys together are way more than triple the volume, which is why I sent them outside as soon as possible! Isla wisely snuck around the outskirts of the yard, staying well out of the way. A tiny bouquet of chives, just for me. Friday, April 23, 2010. Worth it for the view, though. So worth it.

http://the-tea-cozy.blogspot.com/2010/12/where-does-time-go-days-3-6-of-advent.html
Because everything is better with a nice cup of tea. Monday, December 6, 2010. Where Does the Time Go? Days 3-6 of Advent. Wow, time is flying! It has been a busy, busy weekend. Not a lot of Holiday Activity. I hosted a baby shower for my sister and Brynn on Sunday, and we raced to redo our bathroom and fuss around with other parts of the house in time for 20 women to arrive for brunch. The kids got to decorate a gingerbread house with a kit they received from a woman who works with J. The best part?

Because everything is better with a nice cup of tea. Thursday, December 23, 2010. Days 15-23: Catching Up. Oh, we've been busy! But I haven't even taken the camera out of it's bag, to be honest. I may have to add a photo or two to this post later. When I find where I stashed my camera with all the holiday tidying going on around here. It is so hot in that crowded gym! On the 18th, Jay and I went to the annual holiday potluck at David and Susan's, sans children. Lots of yummy food and hilarious conver...
