Wurst Way to Walburg. Next Ride – October 11th 2008. Whatever you do, get the fried pickles. Heading west on 185 out of Crawford to 84 is one of our favorite roads. Nice turns that you can see all the way to the end. We then took 84 through Gatesville and picked up 116 to Copperas Cove. The trip now gets complicated and we managed to get across the bridge on Stillhouse lake and head west on 2484. Awesome road! As always the food was good and the beer cold. Good time had by all! I have a 1947 9n and some previous owner welded the steering arms to the spindles. Arms, spindles, and knees are shot. I have a couple of questions:. 1 I found new knees but the grease fitings are on the front not the back (like mine). Does it matter? 2 I don’t have new spindles or arms yet. The previous owner refused to move it so it left us with the task which was acceptable considering the deal we got. Hitting the www and finding information on removing one was close to impossible. Phone work provided the best results however, the fees ranged from $2,500 to $3,500 sight unseen. It probably would have been more had they seen the situation. We found out today that there use to be a dog race track next door and when they tore it down all the chain link fence went into the creek.
