To perform restoration work on Talisman, the 1938 38 foot Rhodes Cutter we had purchased the prior year. As the work commenced it became increasingly evident the magnitude of the work required to make the vessel structurally sound, was far beyond anything we had anticipated. Captain John R. S/V Talisman Sailing Charters in Door County. Best of Show Award. Talisman is available for charter by reservation only. Memorial Day weekend through mid-October. Your sailing time can be set to fit your vacation schedule. All ages are welcome, the maximum allowable charter capacity is six passengers. You are encouraged to bring food and beverages along. Well behaved dogs are also welcome aboard Talisman. Half-Day (4 hour) Charter: $47.40 per person, plus tax. No charge for children 5 and under.

S/V Talisman Sailing Charters in Door County. Best of Show Award. We brought Talisman to Sturgeon Bay from Long Island in December 2002. The restoration of Talisman by Starboard Wooden Boatworks. Keith C. Kollberg and Crew) began in October 2003. The vast majority of the boat is the original Talisman.
