1,000 Words: Follow us to rookses.com
http://natalierooks.blogspot.com/2009/06/follow-us-to-rooksescom.html
Rooks family photos . each worth at least a thousand words. Saturday, June 27, 2009. Follow us to rookses.com. Natalie's news is moving to rookses.com. Bret has worked hard over the last few months to make our own site more user-friendly (namely more Andrea friendly) so I can upload photos as easily as on this site. I'll be posting some updates soon, and that's where we'll share photos and tidbits about New Baby when he/she decides to arrive (I've still got two weeks, in theory). Posted by Andrea Rooks.

Big Twitter is Watching You | Qualified Condition
https://qualifiedcondition.wordpress.com/2009/06/10/big-twitter-is-watching-you
June 10, 2009. Big Twitter is Watching You. 8212; qualifiedcondition @ 4:52 pm. Everyone knows that the Internet serves three basic purposes: porn, stalking, and on line banking. Twitter, the super-minimal chatty-networky device that newscasters and Senators can’t shut up about doesn’t really fit into any of these categories, and I have been struggling to understand its utility. Until recently. Twitter is for stalking. 8221; And so I began my quest to ferret the man who introduced me to Cuitlaccoche.

Commonplace: We Are Still Here
http://commonplacemiller.blogspot.com/2009/11/we-are-still-here.html
Tuesday, November 17, 2009. We Are Still Here. So, having a toddler and an infant apparently make it harder to blog consistently. That's what I'm telling myself, anyway. And then I remembered that a post doesn't have to be long or involved or eloquent or interesting, though that last one helps, I suppose. It doesn't have to be timely, either, which is why I'm posting some pics from mid October, from our annual trip to the Avila Valley Barn pumpkin patch with the Rookses. We've been getting. Three is the ...

Commonplace: Volcano Story
http://commonplacemiller.blogspot.com/2010/07/volcano-story.html
Thursday, July 22, 2010. Hattie Rose dictated a story for Sarah today- her first ever original creation she wanted written down. It's sign she's following in her father's footsteps. It's also a sign of . well . here it is:. A large volcano. Spread out and burned! And the people was dead. And the bones. And the blood. And it's arms, and it's head. And it blowed down.". Ed note: "This rocks! Refers to the actual rocks flying out of the volcano, as in "These are rocks! Pride against the gods. Sound Your Hor...

Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Change has come to WhiteHouse.gov'. Have you seen the new home of the White House. In addition to the sorts of bells and whistles the average citizen would expect to find (bios of past presidents, a place to sign up for e-mail updates), there's a blog. Our government blogs. Unfortunately, the editor in me says, our government also makes typos. Again, call me what you will, but that should either say "center on. 160;three priorities" or " circle. Maybe I've set my hopes too hi...

May 25, 2009. Twenty Six Point Two. 8212; qualifiedcondition @ 3:40 am. Tomorrow morning is the LA Marathon. I’m pretty excited. I think that I’m supposed to go drink a gallon of water and try to wrap my hamstrings around my head or something, so I’m going to keep this short. Here are some things that I am thinking about:. 1 I hope I don’t have to poo during the race. 2 If I do have to poo I hope I can find a clean place to do it. 4 I hope that I finish with a smile on my face. 5 Comments ». 8212; May 25...

The Graham Family Tales: February 2009
http://travandjengraham.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 15, 2009. Let the record reflect that for the first time in his existence, Alton pulled the wool over his baby sitter's eyes and convinced them to let him stay up waaaay past his bed time. He was 5 days shy of being 20 months old! Answer Laurel. It was not Larry, Travis or myself. So I went into my bedroom, where Alton and Auntie Lala were cozied up and watching Robin Hood. Monday, August 2, 2010. So Glad It's Not Just us. I know it has been FOREVER since I have updated last. Alton has started preschool and is doing tremendously well there. We started him two days a week so he could get used to school and he adjusted VERY quickly. He was that kid that enters the class room, drops off his back pack and takes off without saying good bye to his mama. Layouts made with mama's collab with Jenn Barrette, Making Waves.
