When taken apart and reglued in 1983, the name of the shipwright who made it was found inside. He had vivid memories of assembling and gluing the mast in less than ideal conditions during the severe winter of 1962/3. Not a sloop, but not really a cutter either. Laurent Giles experimented with the slutter rig on a number of designs.
