147,000,000 Minus One. We are not consumed. I know y’all…. its been a ridiculously long time since my last blog post. I am so sorry! I will try, the best I can, to quickly catch you up on these past three months, and to get you to where we are in our journey as a family. Our youngest daughter has now been home for FIVE months! I still cant believe we are on the other side of this! I can’t believe that after all the praying and waiting, she is finally home! She was finally able to ride in her daddy’...

8230;Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. Nehemiah 6:9. Our Week At Home. Thursday, August 6, 2015. It has been a very busy week here at home on the farm! I am so thankful for how quickly we felt better, for how slight our symptoms were, and that the littles did not get it! SO thankful for that. The sweetest f...

And (as you can plainly see) I started this blog - I'm super excited to see where this goes *nods*. I got new bookshelves! The 100-for-100 challenge ended. And it feels super. Weird not to be trying to force out a m...

Allie graciously agreed to write a guest post several months ago, and actually sent this to me soon after I arrived in Texas. Thank you, Allie, for your patience in waiting for me to get this up! It began as a way to document and share Rosie’s story, but it has blossomed into so much more than that! By Leah E. Good. September 25, 2015.

My Heart at Home. You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you. – Augustine. On being Mama…. June 11, 2014. June 20, 2014. Her papa and the boys are playing soccer out back with our dinner guest. We made a deal. I finish dinner dishes in a quiet house while they entertain Sweet Girl in the backyard. She loves outside, and they’ve got an eye on her from the soccer game, but she keeps coming back in the house to check for Mama. Posted in Foster Care. You are commen...
