Sunday, October 30, 2011. I decided to take a quick break from what I was working on to document this little moment we had this weekend. So life has not been overly easy for us lately and I have been living at a "simmer" for a while, slowly waiting for the moment that things boiled over. This moment came on Friday. At this point, as my tears are beginning to spill, Gavin's incoherent wails subside just enough so that I can understand this (apparently) all-important fact. I love my kids.

Saturday, January 21, 2012. This past Wednesday we were finally blessed with winter weather! The view out back from our deck. Have I mentioned that I LOVE the location of our new home? After several mornings of waking up disappointed after all of the snow hype the night before, we finally woke up to over ten inches. I was PUMPED! Since Jared had to go into work early because of the weather, I got busy getting the kids their breakfast so that we could hurry and get into our snow gear and start playing!

Kyra loves to be artistic which is something that she gets from her dad and from her aunt. I draw stick people, badly.
