This is the recipe that made barley a staple in my kitchen. This recipe has the added attraction of being vegetarian, and even vegan if you use margarine. My notes are in parenthesis.

I haven't even had a butt converstation for a few days. So far, what I've figured out for possible dinners are:. Monday (I work until late): Pork BBQ. Tues: (I work all day): Potato soup (cp).
