A warning to Burners and other RV renters. Sunday, January 07, 2007. I read a post from another blogger yesterday. Class A Dad. Wrote that Open Road RV still owes him $2,000. He also alerted me to the fact that Open Road RV has received a F from the Better Business Bureau. See it for yourself here. Below are some complaints, right from the Better Business Bureau's website. Click on the headers to see the original text. Don't blame me for typos: it's cut-n-paste. We would like our full $1,000 deposit back.

A warning to Burners and other RV renters. Wednesday, January 10, 2007. My view on renting an RV. Renting an RV is expensive and prices seem to go up every year. For example, El Monte RV has nearly doubled its price for a 25’ Class C RV since 2004. For example, in August 2004, I paid $105 per night. In August 2005, I spent $189 per night. Holy crap, that’s an 80% increase in the day rate! Fast-forward to 2007 and El Monte RV prices in 2007 risen another 9% to $206 per night.
