Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Maya transitioned out of preschool into PreK today. She also won the Core Values award - we are so proud of her! Friday, June 8, 2012. Today is my baby girl's last day as a three year old. Just typing that sentence seems shocking to me. Where did my baby girl go? Friday, November 25, 2011. November was a LONG month for the Tacketts. Through all the challenges, time with family was the silver lining. Time with our children, including our nieces, nephews, and cousins gave us perspective, hope, and lots of laughs. Katie and I, Maya and Ben split up for Thanksgiving. We did it for good reason, but hopefully for the first and last time. Here are a few pictures from our trips. And Katie and Ben on Thanksgiving Day. We do have so much to be thankful for. Life - It's good.

Thursday, September 20, 2012. Meet the rest of your family. Maya caught the first glimpse of her baby sister in the nursery, but then quickly jumped on the hospital bed in the recovery room. Dad, I know what you're thinking. This is not the pull-my-finger joke. Naomi gave Ben some new diggers, which helped after he quickly lost interest in her. Our Zone D is strong so far. Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Powell had an assembly today, and Maya was part of 5 (! Numbers. The cafeteria was hotter than heck, the kids were yelling more than singing, and Ben was screaming once Santa made his appearance - yet Larkin and I loved every minute of it! Friday, June 8, 2012. Today is my baby girl's last day as a three year old. Just typing that sentence seems shocking to me. Where did my baby girl go?
