Classical classic—— 十首最愛之宗教音樂﹕韓德爾的《彌賽亞》. 12304;明報專訊】《彌賽亞》是韓德爾最出名的作品，應該也是歷史上最廣為人知的宗教音樂作品。環繞《彌賽亞》，有很多故事。其中一個故事說的是﹕有一天助理有事要找韓德爾，明明看到他走進房裏，卻在門口怎麼叫都得不到回應，推開門發現韓德爾捧樂譜發呆，而且滿臉是淚。意識到助理的存在後，韓德爾抬起頭來說﹕「我以為我見到了上帝的容顏。」. 據說，韓德爾捧的樂譜，翻開來的是《彌賽亞》第二部的結尾。那段描寫的，是耶穌基督復活之後，升天到了上帝身邊，音樂歌頌﹕從此之後，耶穌基督成了「萬王的王」，其權力凌駕於世間所有王者之上，於是「哈利路亞」的讚美之聲此起彼落，一聲比一聲更高亢。不過真正的理由是什麼，這個故事反覆傳頌之後，留下了一個傳統──在英國及其他很多地方，演出「哈利路亞」這段音樂時，觀眾會自動起立，站聆聽。韓德爾原意並沒有要將《彌賽亞》寫成「神劇」，他寫的毋寧比較接近是搬演聖經故事的世俗劇，而不是伴隨宗教儀式進行的音樂。不...韓德爾是最早的歌劇聖手，他的歌劇作品數量驚人。對於掌握戲劇性音樂...那天，就...
