Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Sammy update 9/10/13: Samuel. Had been at Sunnyview for a month already! His hard work is really paying off. Today during PT he walked 800' with Kim not even touching him! Well, except to catch him from almost falling a couple of times. He is still listing to the left a bit and his neck and shoulders give him a bit of trouble. It's very tiring for Sam, so he needs a break during the day to rest. Jared Anthony DeMarco. Sam is being very patient and just amazing.

Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Had a busy day - 3 OT appointments and 2 of Speech and PT! He went for a walk outside during PT. Sam's discharge date has been changed to 9/27 (next Friday). His therapists feel that he'll benefit greatly by a few extra days to get his posture and balance in check. Sam is disappointed, of course. But he understands and trusts his therapists completely. Sunday, September 22, 2013. A very short therapy day for Samuel. Sunday's always are. Time enough for visitors, parents, and even some time out of the rehab. Also, extra walking. Sam's doing great.
