The day to day running of the centre is under the responsibility of the Day Centre manager, Diane Mayhew. Diane has an NVQ for Registered Managers Level 4 awarded by The Centre of Vocational Excellence, Health and Social Care and Diane has a broad background in various aspects of healthcare. Diane is ably assisted by June Soane, the senior care assistant, together with 4 care assistants. Finally we must not forget our cleaner, who ensures all is spick and span before our members arrive. Sandhurst Day Centre is a registered charity, which was originally established in 1974 in a small building on the Memorial Grounds built with support from Sandhurst and Yateley Round Table. In 1988 the building was replaced by the present, larger, purpose built building which was funded with support from our Local Authorities and a major fund raising campaign within the local community. The annual costs for running the Day Centre for the last year were 215,840, and these costs were covered as follows:.
