The sellers would actually not be out of the house until 1 PM but as the solicitors’ office were having their Christmas do, we needed to pick up the keys then. German Lass in Scotland. Fantastic news – a new job. July 26, 2014. I got some brilliant news as N. and I were having breakfast today. I got offered the job. I mentioned in my last post. I will start on September 1st. The job is exactly what I had been waiting for. It is in the industry I want to be working in, much closer to home, better pay, more holidays, much more flexibility and a 4 day work week.
