And loved all of it! Here are some of the highlights. The boys are much better helpers...

Our life and adventures. Monday, November 26, 2012. Thanksgiving Break in Tempe. Water feature at the Center for the Arts. We finally have friends in the Phoenix area that we can go visit! Karl's best childhood friend, Jordan, moved with his family from Provo to Tempe this fall and, needless to say, we are thrilled! Unfortunately, they already had plans to spend Thanksgiving. With family in Albuquerque. But they offered to let us stay at their house while they were gone! Of course we said: YES! To, up, d...

Our life and adventures. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. We found this absolutely wonderful gem. In the middle of the desert in Arizona! We need a little waterhole like this one in Flagstaff! I'd be there every single day in the summer. The hike to the water was quite hot and dry. I was starting to have some serious doubts about whether we would actually find some water anywhere but then suddenly this oasis. Appeared and I could hardly believe my eyes! The kids were having so much fun. This awesome little spot ...

Our life and adventures. Monday, December 17, 2012. Note 1: Yes. We had a big snow storm over the weekend and had a great time playing outside. We even took some pictures. But I have a hard time moving on when something isn't finished, so here is the post I started a few weeks back. It's always a good day to head down to Sedona. Have I mentioned how I thankful I am that we chose Flagstaff, Arizona over Moscow, Idaho for Karl to get his PhD? We arrived all ready to go on our hike. How to climb properly (a...

Our life and adventures. Friday, May 31, 2013. In case you haven't heard yet: Our two stink bugs died. No one is really too sad about. Although, once Max was able to refrain from squeezing them in his hand every 5 minutes, they didn't smell so bad anymore. Last weekend the boys went on a 3-day camping trip and brought home a new pet. A walking stick. Bug Those are actually pretty cool! We finally got a new dishwasher. After the old one had been broken for a while. Yay for apartment living! The other day ...

Our life and adventures. Sunday, January 20, 2013. Germany is absolutely soccer-crazy. Of course the World Cup next year isn't actually taking place in Germany but who cares? He just wants to watch it with Opa and Great-Grandma. Opa would take him to various soccer fields when he came home from work and they would practice. He bought Noah goalie gloves and then Noah bought Max goalie gloves with his own money. They were all set. In the afternoon. We were all getting a little tired of soccer. In September...

Our life and adventures. Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Bryce Canyon Family Fun. Remember how we did a little one-night camping stint in the desert. On our way to Utah? On our way back we wanted to take the boys to Bryce Canyon. And camp some more. So we did. And it was great! Except that it rained and was freezing the night we got there. Oh, and all the campsites were taken as well. Craptastic! My little kitchen helper. Of course there was a soccer. Game of some sorts going on:. Only the best for my bike.

A nice change in my opinion. A little part of me is sad that I don't get to eat lunch with this cutie every day anymore but after 5 years of doing so I am happy to pack his lunch box and know that he is having a blast hanging out with his buddies. Ready to ride to school on the first day. Here is a newspaper article. I talke...

Our life and adventures. Saturday, September 28, 2013. Soccer and Red Ninjas. Soccer at the Summit Tournament in Flagstaff. Picture by Cristy Zeller. Let's just say it's rained. And even after an incredibly wet summer, people still get ridiculously excited when they see a dark cloud over the city, snap a picture, and then post it on Facebook. Really? I don't get it. Noah is back to practicing soccer. Nothing like a little independence! The siblings stay entertained while the big brothers play soccer.
