The Lazy Life: Hong Kong
http://atthelazylife.blogspot.com/2013/05/hong-kong.html
Eat Well, Travel Often. Saturday, 4 May 2013. We flew out of San Francisco quite late (1am) which we though was quite a crappy time. But in hindsight it was the perfect time to transition us to get into Hong Kong timezone. We flew Singapore Air to Hong Kong and I don't care what any reviews say, this airline is amazing! The staff were very friendly and more than happy to do anything for you - strange you might say given that this is their job but just think of the flight attendants for Jetstar! Stuart an...

The Lazy Life: California
http://atthelazylife.blogspot.com/2013/05/california.html
Eat Well, Travel Often. Friday, 3 May 2013. This is our experience. San Fransisco - Santa Cruz. Anyway, if you are visiting San Francisco absolutely check this place out but don't go expecting Salamanca here people. Starbucks, McDonald's and Safeway (supermarket chain) all have free Internet. Whilst slow at times it is still free and we were able to check emails and do some research. Parking your car so it block out the morning sun is absolutely essential! Stuart cooking in the McDonalds carpark. But sti...

Eat Well, Travel Often. Sunday, 21 April 2013. Goodbye Breckenridge - it was nice to meet you! So it's been quite an adventure. I have learnt and done things I never thought I would or could do! It's been VERY cold and sometimes quite warm. Some good days and some bad. But all in all I think it has been a great ski season and I would highly reccomend Breckenridge to anyone! Thanks to everyone for such an enjoyable time. Now it's off to sunny San Francisco for a week in our van. Updates soon.

The Lazy Life: May 2013

Eat Well, Travel Often. Sunday, 12 May 2013. I have been quite uninspired to write this blog on the Mekong Delta mainly because the tour we took was uninspiring. Remember how I told you that Stuart and I aren't your typical tourists? Well I have a feeling this has something to do with my dislike of our journey to the Mekong Delta (just a little). Anyway back to these islands. The one and only good thing of this day was my discovery of coconut candy. This stuff is the bomb! We parted ways and joined anoth...

The Lazy Life: January 2013
http://atthelazylife.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Eat Well, Travel Often. Monday, 28 January 2013. With a backyard full of snow and with temperatures at around 2 degrees we decided to embrace our fellow Australians and celebrate Straya Day - even if it was a day later than Australian time (the New Zealanders embraced it too. I mean what choice did they have? I'm the first to admit that the the one and only reason why I don't like Australia Day is because everyone always calls it Straya Day, even when they don't mean to (its AUstraLIA people! The cupcake...

The Lazy Life: February 2013
http://atthelazylife.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Eat Well, Travel Often. Tuesday, 26 February 2013. Moguls. My Achilles Heel. It's a great feeling to progress so quickly and so well from green to blue to black runs. But it's a weird (and horrible) feeling to all of sudden be at a stop sign and not progress any further. I want to be able to ski better on steeper terrain and in difficult snow conditions. What's next? Black runs that aren't groomed every day. Meaning moguls. What are moguls? So how have I gone with these moguls? All my confidence was gone...

The Lazy Life: March 2013
http://atthelazylife.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Eat Well, Travel Often. Monday, 25 March 2013. So we get rid of the New Zealanders. But wait. Ok fine I didn't get rid of them - they left me! Stuart and I dropped 'The New Zealanders' (aka Tessa and Brendan) off at the airport last week. I cried. And I'd like to think for my own self confidence they cried (a lot) too. The house seemed very empty without them - but then we found two more New Zealanders (2 x boys) to stay with us! New Zealand two point zero (NZ 2.0)! Everything Else That Has Been Happening.
