I know I applied last year, as I was fortunate enough to be selected. But I also have a vague recollection of being turned down years ago. Possibly the year the scheme was launched. What’s also likely, is that first time I made the mistake of choosing the wrong writing sample to submit. Fortunately, I didn’t.

Where do paths lead? | Julie Bainbridge
https://juliejotter.wordpress.com/2012/10/23/photo-title
Where do paths lead? October 23, 2012. I’ve been thinking about footpaths. The kind we suddenly lift our heads from, to find ourselves walking in unfamiliar country. How did I come to be here? This is not where I expected to be. And the question I am asking myself is this. Am I lost or am I happy to be where I now happen to be? Now this is a deep, question… I mean, really DEEP. And maybe I don’t want to think about deep stuff, right now. Deep stuff has a tendency to get dark. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
