Greg Freshman: November 2007
http://sc-blogger5.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Thanksgiving Break was awesome! It started out with a trip to Aimes to watch the Iowa State Cyclones take on the Minnesota Gophers in basketball. It was an intense game. Unfortunately, Iowa State lost. But they have this freshman on their team named Craig Brackins who is a stud! He is going to be great for a long time, even in the NBA one day. During Thanksgiving break I also experienced my first snowy day! It was minimal, but being from Florida it was awesome! Emili Johnson...

Beth Peck: September 2007

Sunday, September 30, 2007. Just give the people what they want! And best friends, Sharla and Lauren. B is on the far right. I can't explain why all three of us look like idiots in this picture. We were freshman, what can I say? I'm sure we felt clever and cute. Apparently B gave me a sense of confidence because we were together for all of the big milestones- meeting my first college crush, pulling my first college all- nighter. Over the years I have accumulated more Simpson tshirts. And sweatshirts than...

Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Welcome, to the new Simpson Blogstorm! Last year we hosted Blogstorm on Simpson's site, but we decided to go with Blogspot this year. The biggest reason is that we wanted to be able to hear from you, our blog reader! Anyway, on to better things. Today is an absolutely perfect morning on campus. The weather is cooler than normal and it reminds me of fall! No question, fall is my favorite time of year! I'd have to guess no, but give me another 10 years and I'll let you know.

Greg Freshman: October 2007
http://sc-blogger5.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 25, 2007. In my short two in a half months at Simpson I have already had a lot of first. I am currently experiencing my first fall. Fall over here is kind of like beaches back home. When you are surrounded them it's not a big deal, but when you've never seen it and you experience it for the first time you are like WOW! Have a great fall break, Greg. Monday, October 22, 2007. Anyone who was at last Saturday's game against Cornell knows. How intense that game was! It was pretty sweet!

Beth Peck: My Passport to the City!
http://sc-blogstorm.blogspot.com/2007/12/my-passport-to-city.html
Monday, December 3, 2007. My Passport to the City! Anyone that has ever looked at Simpson, knows that one thing we always talk about is location, location. Yea, yea, there are some other pretty campuses out there (not. As pretty), sure, there are a few profs at other schools that seem cool too (not. As cool), but we have one thing that no one else can boast- an. And why does that matter you ask? Here are few good reasons. 1) The food. Now, when I went to Greece. Be still my heart! So, fast forward. Going...

Not Another Blog About Your FAVORITE Thanksgiving Foods . . . Have you ever noticed that the food our grandparents like is quite different than the younger crowd? It seems to me that ageism. Has crept its way into our food too. Please, if you will, let me offer some delicious/disgusting (depending on your age! 1) NOBODY under the age of 60 likes those fluffy desserts with mandarin oranges suspended in jello. Or worse yet, that mysterious tapioca dessert . . . To "As American as Rice Krispie Treats.".

Beth Peck: Can I have a wind advisory with that?
http://sc-blogstorm.blogspot.com/2007/11/can-i-have-wind-advisory-with-that.html
Monday, November 5, 2007. Can I have a wind advisory with that? Hello from the road! Wow, where to start-let's see, oh yes, the wind. Well, my van was doing the cha. On the open highway as I struggled to keep it on the road today! Gale force winds were giving me all they had but I prevailed. Well, the van prevailed, my hair. not so much. Every time I had to get out of the van for even a nanosecond my appearance took a nosedive. Speaking of the cha. My good friend, colleague and fellow blogger. Either you...

Beth Peck: November 2007
http://sc-blogstorm.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 29, 2007. I have to apologize for my brief hiatus after the holidays. The last thing I remember, it was the day after Thanksgiving and I was just enjoying some leftovers! I grabbed a fork and my 9 inch tin of pumpkiny goodness, I mean, who goes to the trouble of getting an actual plate once the company is gone? Errr everyone does that, right? And the next thing I know, I woke up with whipped cream on my shirt and a stomach ache and it was five days later! The dreaded pumpkin pie coma!
