The School Dentist Program was created in 2003 by Melanie Sheils-Vergeldt, DDS. Dr. Melanie is a graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. Before earning her doctorate, she worked as a registered dental hygienist for ten years, and a registered nurse in a hospital cardiac telemetry unit. Professional memberships include the American Dental Association. The Michigan Dental Association.
