Scottish Borders: Training ....

http://scotborders.blogspot.com/2013/02/training.html

Enjoying the Scottish Outdoors . Sunday, 10 February 2013. In July, a few of us are going to St.Kilda for a week. If the weather is good, then the aim is to paddle out. The chances of this are pretty slim. However, if the weather gods do play ball, we want to be fit enough. Yesterday was the start, with an "easy" 43 km to get me started. It was "easy" as the sea was flat, enabling a steady four knots. Started at Dunbar, headed north, and got as far as Fidra. I can feel a world of pain coming on.

Scottish Borders: November 2011

http://scotborders.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Enjoying the Scottish Outdoors . Tuesday, 22 November 2011. Fast Castle and The Souter . Forecast for Sunday was F3 southerly, with SUNSHINE. Was a lovely autumn day, and certainly too good to stay indoors. So headed to Pease Bay, and journeyed south. Grey seals followed us all day, and every beach was littered like the picture below . The good weather brought out the climbers as well. The next two pictures are a sea stach called 'The Souter'. Links to this post. Monday, 14 November 2011. Blogs I read .
