Monday, June 21, 2010. Ok, not so happy, but at least happy scrappin'! This is an amazingly easy way to make a flower to embellish your favorite scrapbookin' LOs. I used cooffee filters to make this roses and they turned out great! Get your coffee filter, desired ink, scissors, glue, and if you like, stickles and a marker. Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Wired Ribbon Flower Tutorial. Literally took me 5 minutes to make this one! 1 You need wired ribbon and your preferred glue. I ran out of my clear glue so I'm using my liquid stitch, which dries clear but looks white on the pictures, sorry. 2 Fold across the end of the ribbon, like I show in the picture and press the wires gently. You'll need some flower punch outs or die cuts in two sizes. I used the tattered floral die from Alterations by Tim Holtz. Sunday, May 20, 2012. Just want to share some cards I made for OWH. It's my new passion. making cards takes such a different approach! Especially the ones I donate to OWH because there are certain guidelines about chunky embellies and the such (basically no chunky embellies or glitter). I gotta tell you, I used mostly scraps here! So proud of myself when I do that! For this card I used a Stampabilities stamp, and papers from Sweet Tooth from Bo Bunny. The star is from Pebbles. Stamp from Papertrey Ink.
