The Cave Family: London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay
http://theawesomecaves.blogspot.com/2012/06/london-2012-olympic-torch-relay.html
Wednesday, 20 June 2012. London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay. Enjoying The lollipops Grandad brought back from France. Proof that Luke was also there, he slept through the whole thing. The start of the relay cars, and Wenlock the Olympic Mascot. Benjamins favourite site of the day, they just kept on coming along the road giving high fives to everyone. It was a once in a life time opportunity that we couldn't miss out on. I don't expect to be able to see an Olympic torch being carried around the UK again.

The Cave Family: September 2010
http://theawesomecaves.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, 9 September 2010. The week of Firsts. This week has been a week of firsts, some that are worth remembering and others not so important. A badly focused photo but the best one I could get of my little 6 month old and his FIRST TOOTH! I'll post a better photo when I manage to get one. A little cutie-pie in her Red t-shirt on her way to her first day at Playgroup. She started this week and loves it. I didn't need to encourage her at all, she just runs off and shouts 'bye mummy'. The week of Firsts.

The Cave Family: March 2011
http://theawesomecaves.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Friday, 25 March 2011. Its good to be proud sometimes and today I'm proud to live in Newcastle. Sunday, 20 March 2011. Very delicious and s'moreish. I found this recipe in my new favourite cookbook. The Hummingbird bakery cake days. They actually bake and sell recipes from their book through their website. 18 of this S'more cupcakes would cost you £53.10 and I can promise you the ingredients aren't anywhere near that expensive. 30g (1oz) Dark chocolate - finely grated. 80g (3oz) softened unsalted butter.
