Saturday, July 18, 2009. More hills and even less sleep. So this morning was a 10-miler in Sabino. Canyon. Warning: whining ahead. I started off strong, but just ended up totally petering out and finishing the miles for the sake of just being done. I switched to a timed interval, running 7 minutes and walking 1, which helped me fight off complete and utter exhaustion. When we remember, the bags get labeled with a sharpie, which eventually ends up disappearing somewhere in the freezer. Like socks from a dryer. POOF just gone. Then finally lightening struck! The trip was exhausting but so much fun. Our first stop was my sisters house in Moorpark on the way to San Diego. The boys had a great time hanging out with their cousins. I wish we could do it more.
