Thursday, May 11, 2006. Where I am now. Sunday, May 7th I brewed 2 batches in one day. I first brewed a Pale Ale, which I took out some crystal malt and added some carahell instead. I broke into the keg which i used the Burton Ale yeast and it to is clear as a wistle now, so i guess it just took a little more time to do it's thing. Ok go have a pint and tell me about it later. Naturally we all want to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, but he has been here for almost a week, and the only thing he has asked any of us is "do you know what is in Chinese? We said no, because we already had a back-up plan, but we were certainly disappointed that our initial hotpot restaurant didn't exist anymore. They had the best peanut sauce! Saturday, July 21, 2007. Saturday, October 13, 2007. Jamie left China on a Thursday morning, and Rory and I found out Thursday evening that we didn't have to teach on Friday cause the kids were taking tests. Our weeklong vacation started on Monday, too, so we were basically being handed 10 days off, right after I'd already been off most of the week hanging out with Jamie. I'll take it! As soon as we could ditch the Scottish ladies, we did; Frank led us up to a certain point (where it started to get steep) and then bailed.
