Goodboy Norman Featherstone: February 2006
http://studpug.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 27, 2006. You're Just a Whittle Baby, Aren't You? My first reaction to this question is, "Heck No, Woman. I'm not a whittle baby. I'm a full grown stud Pug on the prowl! See my wiggle - my twist - my forbidden dance! However, on further inspection, I answer, "Yes, I'm your whittle baby." Why, you may ask? Have I gone soft, you may ask? The whittle baby can do what he wants, because he doesn't know any better. Face! Posted by Goodboy Norman Featherstone @ 11:34 AM. Links to this post.

Goodboy Norman Featherstone: October 2006
http://studpug.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Ok, so the pictures are a little early. The Woman bribed me with some goodboy bones to keep the antennae on for a little while at least. At one point, they were in my mouth about to become Pug meat! Here I am waiting for some Trick-or-Treaters to arrive. I'm gonna Puggle their little faces! I'm not thrilled with this costume. I really think we could have come up with something more Puggy friendly. I'm free of the antennae! Posted by Goodboy Norman Featherstone @ 4:41 PM. What's...

Mao Mao Kitty: When to Plant the Garden? Now!
http://maomaokitty.blogspot.com/2015/05/when-to-pant-garden-now.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. When to Plant the Garden? In our neighborhood, the daffodils are done, the cherries have leafed out, but the late tulips are still going strong. Last year's kale is happier than ever and that means Mao Mao's getting lots of little kale nibbles before dinner. Yes, our cat is a big fan of greens. I am too, so our human salads are getting a big supplement from the garden lately. What else is growing? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow Mao Mao Kitty by Email. A Way to Garden.

Mao Mao Kitty: Garden Update
http://maomaokitty.blogspot.com/2015/07/garden-update.html
Thursday, July 9, 2015. I was able to harvest 2 radicchio heads and we ate them sautéed over pasta with some sautéed onions and goat cheese - one of our go to easy dinners. Now all the radicchio has bolted and some is even flowering. Who knew they had such pretty blue flowers? The entire community garden is in full flower these days and every time I'm in there I snap some photos of the blooms. I'm really into the bold colors - colors that you just can't believe Mother Nature has on her palette.

Mao Mao Kitty: Salad Season
http://maomaokitty.blogspot.com/2015/06/salad-season.html
Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Our long and lovely spring has given us ideal conditions for growing salad greens. and strawberries! This is the first year that I've had bountiful yields of both. I haven't bought salad greens in over a month and I've had greens to share too. The garden is now off and running after a late start. Here's what it's looked like over the past month:. At the start of May, the lettuce in the foreground was just beginning, the strawberries in the top right were covered in white blooms, an...

Mao Mao Kitty: June 2014
http://maomaokitty.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 30, 2014. How My Garden Grew in June. Last week in the plot, getting bushy. At the beginning of June, the sunflowers were only hinting at the obstacles they would soon become. At this point I moved a few to the common beds and left the rest, hoping a few would be the offspring of the unusual red/brown variety I planted last year. This was the situation last week in the garden. I added some stakes in the rear of the plot for the Chinese yard long beans to climb and trained the rest to the...

Mao Mao Kitty: February 2015
http://maomaokitty.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Starting Leek Seeds Indoors. I planted leek seeds about a week ago in a recycled plastic food container, using a peat medium. They sprouted a few days ago and are doing well. The seed trays are right in front of a south-facing window, where they get lots of light all day. After dark, I put a light over the trays to extend the "day", in an attempt to prevent leggy growth. So far, everything looks good and we're looking forward to big, fat leeks this summer! The purple sprouting...
