I'm proud to say that I knew in advance that would be one of the best things about living here, and made a large lanai and pool a 'must-have' when we were looking for a place to live. Monday, June 8, 2015. I was so, so excited about her birthday, because we planned a mother-daughter overnight in a Royal Room at Port Orleans! Fiona totally believed it and was thrilled. The room was in the mansion section of Port Orleans, which we had never checked out before. The room itself was absolutely amazing. I can't believe such an elaborately themed room was at a moderate resort! We took a quick dip in the quiet pool, but couldn't spend too long because we had a date to meet the boys at Epcot!

Thursday, October 16, 2014. Nothing's ever simple, right? I don't know why I thought a cross-country move would be. duh! So Doug was planning on traveling down to Orlando to attend some meetings in person the week of Halloween. He'd also secure us housing while down there. Well, as it turns out, they haven't been able to get that settled, so it looks like it might be the week after. if at all? Monday, May 11, 2015. Niall's Birthday, Part Two - Legoland. We headed down to Legoland for the first time today, as part of Niall's birthday (he skipped having a birthday party to do this). I had a hard time finding good, solid info ahead of time, so I was really worried about how it would go, but it turned out awesome.
