July 27, 2015. How to get through tough times. This past year has been one of the hardest years I have had to endure. I am extremely happy because I have my son and he is healthy and I can count on those who surround me for peace and comfort as well as a word of correction when I need it. Here are a few things that help me endure tough times. There is something about worship that keeps my heart in a good place. There is something about saying Jesus you are in control that just helps keep you focused.

Communicate, communicate, communicate. So I talked to my boyfriend today about everything I’ve been feeling. About the lack of attention/affection lately. About feeling shut out. I’m really glad I talked to him. I’m truly learning a lot about myself and relationships. I don’t want to make the same past mistakes this time around.
