A Fulltimer's Journey. February 28, 2016. Yuma is a Snowbirder’s paradise. Dozens, if not hundreds, of RV parks, RV supply stores, RV repair, RV accessory stores, RV whatever outlets. I stayed at the Escapees KOFA KO-OP. Yuma has a nice new Regional Mall with a Sam’s Club, as well as a permanent outdoor flea market type place with lots of RV stuff, the Arizona Market. A massive mailing (well over 10,000 pages copied) full of amendments, bylaws, standing rules, etc. all to be voted on in August. Tonight is my last night of East Coast Swing classes. Quite a swing in temps. But what a relief too. The package I bought for $200 included the tow bar, all the cables, Guardian Shield, even a Brake Master. Last Friday, we presented all our work to the Board of Evergreen Coho RV Park. We started at 9 am, took a hour lunch break and finished up at 3:30 pm. I was shocked we were there that long! Saturday, June 6, 2015. I will confess that I have been worried lately about the quality of our language modeling for Fi. Have I varied my words? Is she hearing enough words? Are we extending on her communication attempts enough? Why didn't I map that particular action to words? I found myself having these same thoughts while she was working away. How many ways can I describe the sand? What new vocabulary words can I introduce? Oh goodness.so much to learn and unlearn. Seeing the ocean for the first time.

Saturday, August 8. What a difference a breeze makes. As I figure it, our candles’ two colors of wax have different melt temperatures; the outer (colored) wax melts at a higher temperature. So the inner wax has two things going for its melting first—it’s closer to the wick, and it’s softer. That is the best feeling… knowing that when you hustle to the top of the hill, it will soon pay you back as a downhill!
