Sunday, May 18, 2014. Tips for a Successful Sleepover. First of all, allow me to assure that yes, I was told I was crazy. "You're hosting a sleepover for your 4 year old? Um, yeah, good luck with that." But thanks to an episode of. And won't let the idea of a sleepover go, here are a few tips for pulling it off. 1) Planned activities are your friend. Lila didn't get a jewelry box, but she was not about to be left out of an art project. 2) Do not serve meatloaf. Some intense conversation going on. This on...

The Good The Bad and The Baby: Snow Day!!
http://andyandjennlundstrom.blogspot.com/2015/03/snow-day.html
Tuesday, March 3, 2015. What else are you supposed to do with an unscheduled day at home but bake cookies? Getting Lila truly involved in the cooking process is fairly new, but I'm beyond pleased to report that she's a natural. Check out that concentration! The girls took turns measuring, pouring, mixing.. And then it was time to wear Daddy's shoes. As one does. For the record, Lila wants nothing to do with chocolate chip cookies once they've been cooked. Who knew.. March 5, 2015 at 1:49 PM.

The Good The Bad and The Baby: A little denial, and a big haircut.
http://andyandjennlundstrom.blogspot.com/2014/08/a-little-denial-and-big-haircut.html
Thursday, August 14, 2014. A little denial, and a big haircut. It started with the backyard camping photos. Despite my affection for my baby girl's wispy blonde curls, I could no longer deny one simple fact: Little Sister's hair was a mess. She was sporting a serious mullet, and it was time to do something about it. So we hopped in the car and headed for the Jack and Jill hair salon. Ava went first, just to show Lila how it's done. We even got a pretty good smile at one point. Seriously, how cute am I?

The Good The Bad and The Baby: December 2014
http://andyandjennlundstrom.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Summer in a Nutshell. Sometimes blogging just seems hard. I feel like I don't have anything terribly clever to say, or that my pictures aren't quite perfect. But the bottom line is, it doesn't have to be perfect. It's the story of my girls, written down for them to someday enjoy. Sounds pretty perfect to me. So let's back up a bit, and cover a few things I missed. Irish Festival in the Park. A little break from dancing. Listening to some tunes, loving on Daddy. As you probably...

Sunday, October 27, 2013. The Apple That Fell From Our Tree. Daddy was waiting for her at the finish line. She and I finished the race hand in hand, and I couldn't have been more proud of my girl. Way to go, Little Apple! Thursday, October 24, 2013. Lazy Days and Pumpkin Patches. Fall means pumpkins. And just a couple of miles from our house is a killer pumpkin patch, opened to the public every year complete with games, food trucks, crafts, and live music. The girls had a blast. The Good The Bad and The Baby: February 2015

Tuesday, February 10, 2015. I still have a lot of catching up to do. This post is yet another attempt at that.). As you may recall, we had a bit of a camping dry-run in the backyard. Although nobody actually slept outside (what are we, animals? We were pretty sure everybody was ready for the real thing. And if not, we were only going 10 not-so-brave minutes from the house, so bailing was always an option. First, up went the tent. Everybody helped. Well, sort of. Woke up pretty pleased too. Well, here goes.

The Good The Bad and The Baby: July 2014
http://andyandjennlundstrom.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 28, 2014. Back in the swing of things. With everything that's happened this summer this blog has fallen off the radar a bit. But rest assured, we've been as busy as ever. Case in point. Last Saturday we joined a few friends for a day at Heritage Square. In case you may have forgotten, it's a fabulous miniature amusement part tucked right into the foothills. Plenty of rides fit for both our girls, along with some halfway decent food made for a pretty nice afternoon. I shouldn't have worried.

Saturday, March 29, 2014. Florida: Part II.Part II. On your marks, get set. As important as Princess for a Day was, I can't forget the event that brought us to Disney World in the first place: The Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon. I wanted the girls to see that being a Princess isn't just pretty dresses and cute hair; it's also working hard and kicking butt. So Aunt Marianne and I signed up, trained hard, and ran like royalty. Sofia the First is very popular with both my girls right now. Princess for a Day.
