Was fun – reconnected with a lot of people I have not seen in a while which is always lovely. But, ohhhhh the weather REALLY DID NOT COOPERATE. So, a big thank you to everyone who braved the heat – I know that I came home and hopped right into a COLD shower and into bed! And I luckily, was in the curling arena where it was a tad cooler (because of fans! Was not willing to brave the heat!

Ahhhhh, after the heat and humidity of last week finally we are able to open doors and windows again (hopefully all the pine pollen is gone) and freshen the house. Spent a good part of the morning vacuuming up all Diane’s snippets (well there might have been. Make sure you get my good side! Hmmm now where can I dig ANOTHER HOLE in the driveway for more eggs? Friday, January 21, 2011. The hook-in yesterday took a different turn. As I was going to go to the shop yesterday I thought, I better make plenty of room because a lot of people said they were coming today. Well the weather report changed some of that and we had a completely different crowd! The shop got a lot of new wools in the past 2 weeks so we now have over 250 different textured wools washed and ready to hook! Plus Kathy's over dyed wools, Doris Aymar's beautiful abrashed wools and dipped dyed.
