South Africa Mission Trip: First Clinic Day

Monday, May 13, 2013. We opened the doors to a new clinic in Eluwaktini and were able to see 173 patients. We treated all sorts of disease states and saved several people. One 95-year-old gogo came in complaining of knee pain and wanted a new cane. After she received a new cane, she was still worried about her pain, so several people prayed a great deal more for her. She gave us her old walking stick and started to dance! It was an incredible testament to the attention of our team and the power of prayer!

Saturday, May 18, 2013. Hey friends and family. Sorry for no blog post yesterday. I will let Amanda tell you a great story that led to the delay. Today was a blessing and a challenge! We ended the week seeing over 1400 patients and handing out 1000 pairs of glasses. God moved like crazy in the clinic! YOUR contributions helped touch and save many lives this week – this is just one example of how YOU directly help save lives! What an amazing story! The only thing he managed to actually whip was himself.
