View from the South Slope. Seemingly random observations and comments. Thursday, January 17, 2008. Before and after we adopted our 2 girls, I used to frequent ChinesePod. A lot in a (futile) attempt to learn Mandarin. I continue to download the Mandarin lessons (RSS feed using Juice) hoping that I will have time and enough neurons left to create all the new synapses needed to master Putonghua. While I don't often listen to the Newbie. Lessons I've downloaded, I do enjoy listening to the ChinesePod Extra.
