Helen Noble, VMD. Helen Noble, VMD. Her interest in equine reproduction began with her work at the Hanover Shoe Farm, a Standardbred breeding farm, while in Veterinary school. Dr. Noble was a member of the research team at Hamilton Farms which developed the Equitaner for transporting semen for artificial insemination. The breeding tradition of her father’s Burkland Farm is being proudly carried on by Helen and Leif’s sons, Joshua and Caleb, where they breed and raise Morgan horses.
