Exam Series / Times. Entry / Order Forms. The St. Cecilia School of Music was established officially in 1974 in Launceston, Tasmania. The initial aim was to develop a professional, full-time teaching School which catered for the growing number of music students in Northern Tasmania. Within a short period of time over 1000 music students were enrolled in the School with 18 fully-qualified professional music teachers. The tradition of offering high-quality music education continues to this day.

Exam Series / Times. Entry / Order Forms. Bronze, Silver and Gold. Most of these subjects are offered at the Beginner, Junior and Preliminary levels, as well as in eight grades and eight concert certificates. Recital Certificates are available at two levels. St. Cecilia Diplomas are taken in Performance and Teaching as well as Research and Composition. The Certificate in Music Teaching is available for teachers who principally teach students at the elementary levels only. Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass.
