http://paintthewordsinpastelblue.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Paint the Words in Pastel Blue. Some girls are quite obscure. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Lately I've been utterly transfixed by two new ones in two very different ways. Certainly not to my mind. Conversely, twice now I've found myself home from a tiring day at work, and walking to the grocery store up the street while listening to the new Northern Portrait record Criminal Art Lovers. Here's an interesting montage of images that someone has put together of one of Gil Scott-Heron's most famous pieces:.

Without music, I'd be dead…. March 11, 2014. Let’s focus on the now though! I try to focus on bands I’ve never seen, are new to me, and are from outside the US. Many non-US bands rarely get to tour the US proper, so SXSW might be the only opportunity to see them. I benefit from living in the Northeast corridor and can get to NYC, Philly, and of course, Baltimore and DC very easily. Here are some bands that I’ll be seeing for the first time. I’ll let the music speak for itself! May 16, 2010. Despite my me...

Become a better person through music. Monthly Archives: March 2011. March 22, 2011. Colin Stetson “New History Warfare Vol.2: Judges”. Now I’ve seen and heard a few interesting saxophonists such as Peter Brötzmann and Matana Roberts but nothing like Colin Stetson has ever passed my ears or made such an impression. How to describe this music of his second album “New History Warfare Vol.2: Judges”. Posted in Music Reviews. March 21, 2011. I can’t remember anything else about it because that song is s...

Become a better person through music. Newer posts →. March 21, 2011. At the dark end of the cupboard hides the most recent output of Ninja Tune and associated labels. Yesterday I discovered a Grandaddy record (Todd Zilla) hiding in amongst them – are they offering sanctuary to escaping vinyl? Anyway, I was looking for Foley Room by Amon Tobin and found this record by Spank Rock. I’ve had a little look online and the second album is promised this year. Whatever reason prevented a quick follow-up...I appro...

Niin paljon vettä niin lähellä kotia: helmikuuta 2012
http://niinpaljonvettaniinlahellakotia.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Niin paljon vettä niin lähellä kotia. Tiistai 28. helmikuuta 2012. LIVE: M83 Porcelain Raft @ Tavastia 27.2.2012. Noniin. Aina silloin tällöin on vaikea ajatella objektiivisesti ja kriittisesti. Tällaista tapahtuu lähinnä silloin harvoin kun löytää itsensä M83:n eturivistä (nolon fanityttöpyrähdyksen seurauksena). Päivän kuluttua tunnevyöry vain jatkuu. Ja miksikäs sitä piilotella tarvitsisikaan? Tätä seuraavat muistikuvat perustuvat lähinnä pienille, satunnaisille aistikokemuksille. Sen huomasi varmaan ...
