She said that everything in my file looked great. She asked me a few questions about me changing my birth control from nuvaring to an oral contraceptive before I leave and then she said she was going to medically clear me today! My Peace Corps Journey in the Philippines…. For the Wild at Heart. I am alive ;). I am alive 🙂 I am in the Philippines and I’ve almost been here for a month! It’s absolutely beautiful and amazing. I have a wonderful host family and am amazingly lucky! I am happy and content and can’t wait to finish training and start my service. My next post will be longer hopefully 🙂. We finished our 138 page research project on Ethiopian refugees and domestic violence intervention. We passed with an “A” for awesome. I finished my last days of school, papers and projects. I finish my internship next week (I’m going to miss my colleagues so much! I GRADUATE tomorrow with my MSW! It’s all so overwhelming and exciting. Join 11 other followers.

And So It Goes. Friday, September 26, 2014. My kidlets now attend Kaysville Elementary, and apparently this school does a big jog-a-thon for the students every year. Today was the day. Kindergarten through 3rd grade ran together, and then the 4th through 6th grades ran later. After the local fire dept lead the kids in a warm-up they were off!
