Saturday, August 14, 2010. A few weeks ago we got a fun monsoon that last for a while. The kids and there friends headed out and came back with buckets of frogs and tadpoles. There are so many frogs right now. When I walk through the parks in my neighborhood I have to watch where I step because there are so many baby frogs on the path. As I panic myself to death and dread the weeks to come, I'm the only one caring. My favorite hymn is "I Know That My Redeemers. How do we give up. Control and just say oh well it is what it is? I'm so bad at that! I still have hope that I am panicking. Myself for nothing, and it probably won't be as bad as I'm making it out to be but can't anything ever, ever just be easy?

He is simply PRECIOUS. He has decided to be a thumb sucker- guess he's in the right family! Greg, surprisingly, has not done anything to deter. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. The Halloween Goblin came and left it hidden around the courtyard. The kids had a blast looking for the candy. The kids designed their own pumpkins (Thanks dad for doing all the carving), we made some spider treats, and ate so much candy I was worried someone was going to go into insulin shock or maybe even a coma. Monday, December 7, 2009. We have always known that Crew has a hard head but here is the proof. They were playing on the slide and one was going up the other going down, there was a collision and this was the result. It was bruised all the way to her hairline. It was the worst black eye I've ever seen. I wish I could've gotten more pictures but this one from my phone is the only one she would consent to. Poor girl. Who would want a bunch of pictures of her black eye? Layla said, "Don't we look beautiful!

Tuesday, January 12, 2010. I love Halloween and its not just for the candy. I love the costumes too! This year I really enjoyed the wigs. Layla's made me laugh every time I saw her in it. I kept making her try it on just so I could laugh. At the school's Fall Festival the girls got to make these little masks which was definitely one of the highlights of the night for them. They also had an amazing balloon artist there and lots of games, candy, and prizes. It was really fun! National Air Force Museum.

Thankfully I was ready for Christmas by the end of October, so the surprise entrance of our Little Bug didn't cause too much EXTRA craziness. I guess I found it much easier to keep up the blog in the winter months when we are at home, versus during the nice weather, when we are out running around constantly! The rest of the trip was great. We spent most of our time going between our pool and the beach and of course enjoyed ice cream every night! I am sure there will be lots of fun to report back!
