Today we are weaning from hi-flo oxygen to 1L wall oxygen (lower flow) and will watch how he tolerates his feedings as he learns to coordinate his breathing, sucking, and swallowing. We are decreasing his morphine to every 12hrs and hoping to be off in the next 48hrs. We’ll change it to PO (by mouth) so we can then discontinue his PICC line! One more line down, bud!
